Camping at Bryce Canyon

As we came across more canyons, we enter Bryce Canyon. I was so excited to go to Bryce Canyon for the second time of my life, Bryce canyon is was special to me because my name cam from it. When we got into the park it was extremely hot. Bryce canyon is a national park formed from rock formations called hoodoos, it was formed by wind and rain carving it out.

We went to a campsite at Bryce Canyon to stay over night, so we planed for the kids to sleep in the car and have our parents sleep in the a tent with tee-ehhh. We all agreed and cooked dinner, when we were done we set the car up and went to brush our teeth.

We went to the car to make our cramped seats into our beds for the night.  We opened the windows for ventilation and proceeded to sleep.  I had a bad night sleep:(

Entering Canada

As we drive through the road we come across a big building, when I see a big word that writes CANADA. I was so exited because in my memory I never entered Canada. So we had to go through this check thing, we have to show our passport and they ask questions, then we can go through.  I was so happy and really exited to see what Canada is like, it t was not impressive in till we got into Canada more. I think that Canada is really cool in the more popular places, so that is what I think about entering Canada.

Zion

As we zoom across the road I see a sign as we approach it we stop. So I started to read it, Zion National Park, the sign was a lot different than most other national park signs, but I like the sign to. As we come across a mountain there was like a zigzag pattern on the mountain. Then my dad asked if we wanted to go climb the mountain, we said yes and we got off the car and pun on sneakers so it is easier to climb. we started to play a game of we were mountain loins as a family, we had lots of fun when it looked like it was going to rain so we hid under a rock. Soon we had to leave but it was fun climbing the mountains, I hope I can do it again soon.

Oregon Caves

We finished packing up at our campsite and left. We were driving to Oregon Caves National Monument. I was really exited  because I felt like I was going to the first cave in my life. When we got to the visiter center we got a spot for a tour, me my little sister and brother got a junior ranger booklet. we worked on the first page before the tour, we had to bring our books in our car so we went all the way back to the car.we went over the rools and history and about the rocks in Oregon Caves, then we set off. We were in the cave for about 30 minutes then we came out.

Delicate Arch

Hiking at Arches National Park, Delicate Arch was really painful. We hiked in one hundred some, I was all so really tired because it was mostly up hills. My mom and sister struggled a bit, but they still made it to the end. Me my older sister and brother got there first to pose for my dad when he was at an other arch. when we were waiting we header someone screened that appeared to be our little sister. So  we looked over and saw a bright pink thing roll down the cliff, a few seconds later me and my brother were like, wait that is our little sisters water bottle. A nice man went down the cliff to get our water bottle and his. He went behind the arch to come back, it took him so long that we thought he fell, but he was taking pictures. We thanked him and ate lunch then left, when we got to the car it was 106 degrees, we cooled down and left the park.

Logan Pass (Hidden Lake Trail)

At Logan pass Hidden Lake trail we were hiking then their was a patce of snow that went up hills. Me and my brother went up the hill and slid down, but we were pretendinhg to ski we did it so many times, so we needed to run back up and catch up with our familly.  Then me my litle sister and my brother raced up an other hill no snow and there was wood on were you walk. Then a large peice of land with snow, when we finished the first half of the trail, we saw a slide of snow as we slid down I really hated it because I was on my feet. So I climbed up and ran up the mountain to catch up with my dad and sister, that is were the Approaching Goat starts.

Cow Family

As we zoom past the plains of grass we come along cows, lots of cows. every time we come across cows I feel a conection Between us. So then I started to open the window every time we run into more cows, I will say HI BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND MOM AND DAD AND COUSINS. But I love saying one thing, when I die I will turn into one of you.IMG_9587 Then we go across more cows, but they have shelters, then we think about it, wait isint that a slaughterhouse. So I thought if I turn into a cow I might get killed at at a slaughterhouse and get eaten. So I fell like it is not a good idea to become a cow.

Lunch at Denver

We were meeting with my Dad’s friend, Steve, for lunch🍴in downtown Denver today. We were eating at Marco’s Coal Fire Pizza, a pizza 🍕 restaurant that also served soup and pasta. I had minestrone soup 🍜 because I like all kinds of soup, and I wasn’t sure if I would like anything else on the menu. The minestrone soup 🍜 was a little bit spicy 🌶 so finished my sprite quickly. I was still hungry, so I had a stuffed pasta shell from Kadia. It was like lasagna in a large piece of pasta. I wanted to try Dad’s pear pizza, too, but I was stuffed! When we all finished lunch, we thanked Steve and his mom before we parted. Dad told me that Steve’s mom lives near Denver. I love it here and sure will come back to visit someday.

The Approaching Goat

My family was hiking in the Logan Pass area in Glacier National Park.  The trail was covered with snow in some parts, so I pretended that I was in a snow park.  I slid down a slide made of snow, but I hated it.  The snow got all over me, and I was all wet.  When I was going back up, I fell so many times.  I try to run up the mountain to catch up with my sister and my dad.  I asked a hiker if he had seen my Dad.  I asked that because if i ran all the way to the end of the trail and they’re not there, my family might be looking for me.  As I went around the corner of the mountain, I saw a mountain goat approaching me.  When it was only five feet away, it suddenly but quietly knelt down.  Moments later, it stood back up and approached me again. I wasn’t  scared at first, but as the goat stared at me and walked closer, I thought it might follow me all the way.  I went up to a higher ground to keep a distance, the goat turned away and moved on.  I was excited about this encounter but disappointed that it was so short.  I continued on to find my sister and my Dad to tell them all about it.

Mosquitos 🦗

I think that mosquitoes are really annoying because they bite you a lot and because the bumps appear and get itchier. Sometimes the mosquito bites are really bad after many days the bite is still really itchy. They are also annoying because when the bumps are itchy I get distracted really easily. I’m writing ✍🏻 right now and the mosquitoes bite is killing me, so I’m writing ✍🏻 pretty slowly. The only fun thing about mosquitoes is killing them, I killed them by clapping 👏🏼 so the mosquitoes get smooshed . In the places that we went on so far, Sunshine meadows had the most mosquitos, it was a good hike 🚶🏼‍♂️but so many mosquitoes. That is what I think about mosquitoes.
